Here at the Cirkewwa Marine Park, we believe that education is vital for ensuring the longevity of our pristine marine ecosystem. We work with school groups to provide fun and informative outdoor learning activities, inspiring young people to enjoy and protect our natural environment.
We also collaborate with businesses creating outdoor learning experiences and corporate packages, allowing companies to actively engage with the efforts of the marine park through Corporate Social responsibility.
In recent years businesses have become more engaged and active in regard to climate issues. No matter how big or small, each business can play its role in protecting the environment, from big-scale projects such as carbon offsetting to small in-house changes just as plastic-free canteens.
We want to give businesses something different and offer real first-hand, fun experiences that allow companies to engage in marine conservation. With fun activities such as kayaking, snorkeling, and waterfront yoga to informative educational talks, and beach clean-ups, we work directly with each company to create a unique, memorable experience to suit each company’s individual desires and goals.
Profits from these activities directly help us to fund our marine conservation efforts such as research, habitat protection, and community programmes. Businesses are welcome to donate or sponsor various social projects we run.
